RECIPE CARD Lemon Ricotta Cake

For our Spring Summer photoshoot I made a cake recipe I had been eyeing for quite a while. The main intention was to use it as a prop, and it truly delivered on its duty by photographing beautifully. Of course the secondary, and more indulgent, intention was to enjoy it on set as a snack. It got rave reviews by all. 

The recipe is available on Food52, but be sure to read through some of the comments. Like some others mention, I also had to bake for much longer than the recipe suggests. This cake is delightful as is, simple and dusted with powdered sugar, or serve with berries and whipped cream.
