After more than a decade working with high profile brands and publications to bring their photoshoots to life, our founder, prop and interior stylist Kira Corbin, felt drawn to reach beyond the fleeting moments of a photoshoot and bring her unique vision for beautiful, purposeful living into people's homes.

Standard Affair was founded in 2025, born from Kira's passion for decorating the home, her deep appreciation for the ways in which we interact with objects, and a desire to enrich our daily lives.
