Guided by a desire to reconnect with her Portuguese heritage, founder Kira Corbin looked to Portugal, a country renowned for its manufacturing excellence rooted in centuries old traditions of craftsmanship, to find the right production partner for Standard Affair.
At every step of manufacturing our pieces are touched by human hands. This creates subtle variations from piece to piece, a desirable trait that exhibits the warmth and soulfulness of human influence.
Our stoneware is made with recycled clay by skilled craftsmen in one of Europe’s most energy efficient industrial facilities.
Our table linens are made from European grown flax linen and are Oeko-Tex certified.
Our packaging is plastic free, recycled and recyclable.
